This didnt really appeal to me for some reason when I was picking summer shows.

Watching the OP now, I might as well at least try the first episode; it seem to have the requisite number of hot chicks for me.

I've now seen the first two episodes. I'm not really sure at this point. It seems like it's kind of trying ot capture the style and energy of Gurren Lagann, yet not quite reaching that level.

I'll continue to watch in hopes that things become like the ending.
